University Students from Tokushima Hand Over Ethical Consumption Policy Recommendations to the Consumer Affairs Agency

On November 17th, 2025 (Mon), university students from Tokushima had the valuable opportunity to visit the Consumer Affairs Agency (CAA) Headquarters in Tokyo, and personally present to Commissioner Horii the recommendations (document) compiled by them.

During the discussion meeting that followed, the students proposed a series of practical and innovative ideas, including the further expansion of ‘ethical consumption’ education for the youth, and the enhancement of sales services in ‘transportation-deprived areas’ (an increasingly serious issue nationwide).
The students also received valuable feedback from the relevant officers of the CAA, making it a very meaningful experience for them.

We hope this experience can help the younger generation develop diverse perspectives and foster interest in policy formation, particularly in the area of consumer policy.

Further details regarding this event will be published on the official website later. Please check back for the full public release!
