Todoroki Falls

Todoroki Falls

The waterfalls are also called Karei Falls and are the largest in Shikoku. As the name shows (Todoroki means “to roar”), the water falls powerfully roaring and makes the ground tremble, and you feel a bit chilly even in summer. There are various sizes of waterfalls upper streams including Nijyu-no-Taki Fall and Yokomi-no-Taki Fall, therefore, the waterfalls are called “Todoroki 99 Falls”, as well. Todoroki Shrine and Ryuou-ji Temple are enshrined there.
