Kito, Naka-cho boasts of the quality of its Kito cedars. This is the event reviving an old traditional art, “log riding”, which used to be the way to transport Kito cedars.
A person rides on a log to go down the clear stream of Naka River, balancing with a bamboo pole. Beginners can join in the competition, too. There is a lecture at which you can learn from the experts of Kito cedar log riding directly.
