I was tricked by a dating app!

The following investment fraud problems have occurred: “A foreigner of the opposite sex, whom I met on a dating app and became friends with, said to me, ‘I’m making money with crypto-assets. I’ll show you how to invest, so let’s do it together,’ and I signed up for an overseas investment site. At first, I made a profit, and since the money was deposited into my account, I trusted the person. Then, I made an expensive investment as they recommended, but was cheated out of the entire amount.”

「マッチングアプリで知り合い、親しくなった外国人の異性から『暗号資産で設けている。やり方を教えるので一緒にしよう』と誘われ、誘導された海外の投資サイトに登録した。最初は儲かり、口座に入金されたので信用し、相手に勧められるまま高額な投資をしたが全額騙し取られた」等、投資詐欺のトラブルが発生しています。

If someone you meet on a matching app tells you that you can, “make big money,” you should be suspicious. In addition to crypto-assets, FX (foreign exchange margin trading) is sometimes recommended instead. Don’t trust strangers too easily.

マッチングアプリで知り合った人から「儲かる話」をされたら詐欺を疑ってください。暗号資産以外にもFX（外国為替証拠金取引）を勧められる場合もあります。見知らぬ人を安易に信用しないようにしましょう。
