Investment Scams Abusing LINE Group Chats

There has been a rapid increase in cases of scams involving investment-related LINE group chats. Victims of this scam may find themselves suddenly invited to a LINE chat after clicking on investment-related advertisements online. They are then cheated out of their money under the guise of making investments.

SNSの投資に関する広告をクリックしたり、突然招待されるなどの方法により、投資に関するLINEグループトークに参加し、投資と称してお金を騙しとられる被害が急増しています。

If you are invited or added to a suspicious group chat, please do not send any messages, and quickly use LINE’s report function to report it.

怪しいグループに招待されたら、決して発言せず、LINEの通報機能を利用してください。

You are also encouraged to turn on the ”Filter messages” option in LINE’s privacy settings so that you will no longer receive group chat invitations from people you do not know.

また、知らない人からのトークやグループ招待が届かないようにする設定（メッセージ受信拒否）を利用してください。
