Course automatically changed when coupon used! Is this OK? Endless regular purchase service trouble

The following is an example of unending requests for consultation related to regular purchase services. ‘I applied to make a regular purchase of beauty moisturizer online that stated “no term restrictions”. However, soon after applying and using the displayed “Special Discount Coupon”, before I realized it, the purchase’s terms had been changed to a 4-time continuous (purchase) course.’

「インターネット通販で『定期縛りなし』と表示された定期購入の美容液を申込んだはずが、申込直後に表示された『特別割引クーポン』を利用したことで、いつの間にか4回継続が条件のコースに変更されていた」といった定期購入の相談が後を絶ちません。

If the use of a “Special Discount Coupon” is recommended soon after the procedures for a purchase, before using the coupon, confirm the following:

- If regular purchase terms apply or not

- If the period of continuous purchases or number of purchases is fixed or not

- The total amount to be paid

- Procedures for terminating the contract

- If the contract can be terminated and goods can be returned, terms or conditions for terminating the contract and returning goods

- Terms and conditions of the contract/purchase/use of the service, etc.

Make sure you confirm the above and take a screen shot of the “Final Confirmation” screen and keep a record of it.

申込直後に「特別割引クーポン」を勧められた場合には、クーポン利用の前に、
・定期購入が条件になっていないか
・継続期間や購入回数が決められていないか
・支払い総額はいくらか
・解約の際の連絡手段
・解約・返品できるか、解約・返品できる場合の条件
・利用規約の内容
などを必ず確認し、「最終確認画面」をスクリーンショットで保存しておきましょう。
