Beware of phishing emails using real company names!

The following enquiry was received. [After I received the following email from a large online sales company, ‘Your account has been locked’, I entered my ID, password, and personal details as instructed on the screen. Later, I noticed on my credit card statement there was a payment claim item I had no recollection of.]

「『あなたのアカウントがロックされた』というメールが大手通販サイトから来たので、画面の指示に従い、ID・パスワードなどの個人情報を入力した。その後、クレジットカードの利用明細のなかに、身に覚えのない請求があった。」という相談がありました。

Do not carelessly click on links site you find on your email or SMS, nor input your personal information. If you do, your credit card and personal information may be unlawfully used. If you accidently click such a link, under no circumstances input your personal information.

メールやSMSに記載されたURLに安易にアクセスし、個人の情報を入力してしまうと、クレジットカードや個人情報を不正利用されるおそれがあります。もし、アクセスしてしまっても、個人情報は絶対に入力してはいけません。

To prevent damage, make sure to use official apps or the bookmarked sites of the companies you use.

被害に遭わないようにするためには、普段から、公式アプリやブックマークした事業者のサイトにアクセスすることを習慣にしましょう。
