Beware of Fake Sites of Official Bodies or Businesses!

There will likely be an increase in the number of people accessing the home pages of official bodies and businesses to find information about COVID-19 and the Special Cash Payment. However, quite a few fake sites have been discovered, so government and local bodies have been issuing warnings.

Specifically, in May of this year (2020), a fake site imitating the Kobe City government’s website was discovered, and all Kobe citizens were warned not to access it. In addition, a copyright infringement claim has been filed against the domain administrator along with a request to close the site.

実際に，本物そっくりの「神戸市役所公式ホームページ」が令和2年5月に発見され，市民の皆さんへアクセスしないよう呼びかけるとともに，偽サイトのドメイン管理者に対して著作権侵害の申し立てを行い，サイトの閉鎖を求めました。

The fake site is a direct copy of the original, so it is indistinguishable from it. When accessing a site, please check the URL domain name (the last part). If there are unusual characters in the last part such as “.tk”, “.ga”, “.gq”, “.ml”, or the like, do not access that site.

偽サイトは，本物のサイトがそのままコピーされているので，内容は本物とそっくりで区別がつきません。まず，サイトにアクセスする際は，URLのドメイン名（末尾の部分）を確認してください。特に「.tk」「.ga」「.gq」「.ml」等，見慣れない末尾の文字があればアクセスしないでください。
