From the starting point to the Sanjinja Shrine, the trail winds through a quiet mountain village landscape, and along the way you can enjoy famous landmarks such as Furisode Jizō, which enshrines statues of Jizō with charming face, and Aizenin Temple, whose gate is decorated with huge straw sandals. The path between the bamboo grove on the left side of the Sanjinja Shrine(mountain shrine) leads to a full-fledged mountain trail.
After continuing along a path lined with deciduous trees and ferns, the trail climbs steeply to the first overlook. From here you can see the plain that stretches to the southeast at the foot of Mt. Bizan(290 m). The second and third viewpoints are further ahead, and both offer views of the mountain range. From the observation spot in Daiyama Park, reached by a paved road, you can see the plains of the Yoshinogawa River basin stretching from east to west. Continue along the road to Waza no Yakata, a facility where you can experience traditional handicrafts. Follow the signs and you will arrive at Anrakuji Temple, the 6th temple of the Shikoku Pilgrimage route.

Halfway along the course in Kamiita-town is is "Waza no Yakata" a facility to learn about local traditional crafts (ex. indigo dyeing) and food (ex. wasanbon - fine-grained sugar). Please experience indigo-dyeing here.
